Record-sized omelet for Italian city's carnival

One of the big events of the Carnival of Muggia (Italian city of Friuli Venezia Giulia) is the traditional mega omelet prepared in the Marconi square

It is a record-sized omelet, for which more than two thousand eggs, 30 kilograms of meat and many liters of oil are needed. To make it requires the work of five people.

Making it involves preparing all the necessary ingredients and utensils in the afternoon. When the cooking is finished, the omelet is divided into portions and distributed free of charge to all the people present who want to taste it.

The tools used
