The seven foods richest in fiber

Today we present the seven foods richest in fiber. Dietary fiber is a component of foods derived from plants, not digestible by the stomach and small intestine.

It is partially digestible by the colon. Its presence in the diet is fundamental for health.

Much of dietary fiber is part of the carbohydrate class, but not only.

Originally, dietary fiber was defined as "the remaining skeleton of the cell wall of plants, resistant to the digestive enzymes of the human kit".
